March of the Black Skimmers
Flocks of Black Skimmers nest on the beaches of Amelia Island. They raise their young on our beaches and sunbath on our shores. They always face into the wind. When I came upon this group early one morning on Main Beach, I slowly approached with a long lens, got onto the ground and shot this at eye level capturing their beauty in this random patttern, I called "March of the Black Skimmers". This original photo is printed on metal (aluminum) enhancing its natural beauty. and measures 24 x 36"
