Pretty in Pink
Roseate Spoonbills are present on Amelia Island but are not as plentiful as many other bird species so it is always a treat to happen across one. This beautiful Spoonbill was on the banks of the Greenway in the shadows of the marsh bank. The light was such that it highlighted her lovely pink feathers as she noticed me and looked straight into my lens.
