Nancy Bartmess
Nancy studied art in the Atlanta area for many years with Chris di Domizio at Old World Art, and has studied with notable painters Bill Davidson, Colley Whisson of Australia, Daniel Keys, Robert Johnson and Joe Pacquet. She attended the Florence Academy of Art in Florence, Italy to study plein air landscape painting
After a twenty-five year business career as a Vice-President of Wachovia Bank, a partner with the Trammell Crow Company, and working with family owned Applied Software, Nancy discovered a passion for oil painting. She has also experimented in pastel and watercolor, but painting in oil remains her favored medium.
Nancy’s work has been shown in numerous juried shows in the Atlanta area and has won numerous awards. Her work hangs in personal and corporate private collections. She is a member of the Atlanta Fine Arts League and an associate member of Oil Painters of America.
