I have always enjoyed painting , however my adventure did not truly begin until after I retired from social work.  I started watercolor training with a tutor and progressed to multiple workshops and lessons at The Torpedo Factory in Arlington Virginia.  I continued to take classes while living in South Africa , Connecticut and finally in Fernandina Beach.  I love immersing myself in brilliant colors painting florals, still life’s and landscapes.  I am currently working in watercolor, alcohol ink and occasionally acrylics. In juried shows I have won Best in Show, First place, second and third place.  My work has been shown at Island Art Association, Baptist Hospital Nassau County, and the Plantation Artists Guild and Gallery
