Lisa Kovacs
Lisa Kovacs has always enjoyed sketching and painting whenever she found free time. Lisa’s mother is a wonderful artist and a true inspiration to Lisa. She was and continues to be a big influence in Lisa’s interest in art. After raising three boys, Lisa began to devote more time to painting, eventually developing her own style. She attended some classes through the years, but found her most productive years painting were spent by herself listening to her favorite music and burning a scented candle. Lisa is also interested in photography and often paints from photos she’s taken.
Lisa has participated in numerous art exhibits in New Jersey and Florida. She and her husband Gabor are residents of Fernandina Beach, where Gabor, a Vascular Surgeon and Lisa, who is a Surgical Technologist, operate Vein Care Center of Amelia Island. Lisa joined the Plantation Artist Guild and Gallery as an exhibiting member in November 2019.
Lisa and her husband find themselves at the beach at various times of the day, walking their two dogs, enjoying the peace and tranquility of sunrise or watching the colors sunset casts on water in the evening. “It’s always inspirational for a beautiful painting!”
